ClipsShop self-piercing grommets, sold by METALgrommets.com, are made from premium brass manufactured using a proprietary technique. In fact, the metal grommets have a sharp, self piercing edge. This edge is precisely designed to work with same-size attaching dies. To assure the performance and longevity of the grommet attaching dies, they are made from durable stainless steel.
Attach a Grommet in a Single Step
When used together, ClipsShop attaching machines, setting dies and non-rusting metal grommets, pierce their own hole while being attached to your material. That means that in a single action, you can set grommets in one step without pre-punching a hole (on most materials). It’s important to note that traditional sheet metal grommets are made from thinner metal and require a hole in the material before setting a grommet. Furthermore, this takes two steps – twice the time, twice the labor. Use ClipsShop self-piercing grommets instead!

Self piercing metal grommets and sheet metal grommets are very different. Self piecing brass grommets are not designed to be applied with hand setters. Grommet sizes #5.5 and smaller are
sold in bags of 500. Buy grommets #7.5 and larger in bags of 100. The prices include full sets of matching grommets/washers.
