#0 Chemical Black Oxide solid brass self-piercing grommets and washers, 500 pieces of each. ClipsShop solid brass metal grommets are non-rusting. If your grommets stick to a magnet, they are steel grommets. Steel grommets are not self-piercing like ClipsShop's metal grommets and even if they have a color plating on them like nickel-plated grommets, they will eventually rust over time. ClipsShop metal grommets are made in Europe and come in multiple different finishes including brass, nickel, chemical black oxide, or antique brass finish just to name a few.

1/4" ID (0.25") metal grommets should be applied with the ClipsShop #0 stainless steel grommet attaching setting dies and one of the following grommet setting bench presses or attaching machines:

• CS-TIDY-41
• CSTEP-2
• CSBUR-1
• CSTON-1
• CS-PIC-2
• CSTEP-1

Note:  Our ClipsShop brand solid brass self-piercing grommets with a chemical black oxide finish fit our ClipsShop brand stainless steel setting dies. Some customers report that they work successfully with certain Micron and Stimpson dies. Micron calls 1/4" ID grommets a #1-J. If you have an existing Micron grommet #1-J die then you should order our #0 grommets to fit it. If you plan on using our grommets with a different brand of grommet attaching machine, we suggest you request samples for testing before making a purchase. Open bags of grommets may not be returned.
