With the introduction of the ClipsShop CS-TIDY-41 Pneumatic Grommet Attaching Machine, the quantity of CSPIC-2 pneumatic grommet attaching machines kept in stock has been reduced. If there is not a machine in stock, the website will clearly let you know. In the event the machine is out of stock, anywhere from 8 - 10 weeks depending on the timing of the order.

Like other sit-down, foot-pedal actuated grommet setting machines, attaching metal grommets with the CSPIC-2 is more productive than with a hand press. It additionally provides more accuracy & consistency and drastically reduces operator fatigue.

The CSPIC-2 includes an electric audible safety system to protect the operator during production. The system protects the operator by electrically grounding the machine when he/she touches a metal component stopping or preventing the machine cycle. This requires an adjustment to be made with the integrated potentiometer based on operating conditions. Considerations such as the floor beneath the press, the operator's size and weight, and the type of shoes being worn will all affect the intended function. The safety system may need to be adjusted with a change in any of these conditions. Setting the adjustment correctly and regular inspection of proper function is the responsibility of the customer.

It is easy to use a typical pneumatic air flow regulator with a pressure gauge to adjust the machine's pressure. The amount of time to load the next grommet and washer into the die is typically more than enough time for the air cylinder to fully regain its air pressure.

The laser pointer as shown on the CSPIC-3 may be added as an option at an additional cost and is easy to install plugging into the electric safety system control box. The laser pointer is usually special order and can take 2 - 6 weeks. Many of our CSPIC-2 customers have installed their own laser pointers which require their own power source but will work in a similar fashion.

Applicable Grommet Sizes:
#12 and all other sizes. # 7.5, #8.5, and #12 require pre-pierced holes in the material.

Note: The machine requires self-piercing dies to apply grommets. Please order your die(s) in the correct size(s) to match your grommets.
